After moving from Yerevan to Silicon Valley and back, the Markosian family has been on a mission to rapidly grow Armenia’s first all-natural cosmetics company since 2012. Nairian is the sum of every family member’s efforts: Ara and his wife, Anahit, are CEO and head of research and development, respectively. Their son Vahe is the creative director and daughter Lilit shapes the brand as copywriter and illustrator.
All of Nairian’s products are totally free of parabens, phthalates, artificial fragrances and dyes; every product is hand-crafted with pure essential oils, distilled at the company’s facilities in the village of Aragyugh. The body cream is made with pomegranate seed oil, apricot kernel oil, shea butter and litsea; the hand cream contains rosewater cultivated from Damask roses, sunflower oil, honey and ziziphora.
